Mirror, Mirror

Mirror mirror on the wall what is the best beauty regimen of all? There are so many products and protocols out there it is really overwhelming how to decide what is best for your skin, because everyone is so different. I have tried a lot of different regimens and products waiting for something to work and then getting frustrated with lackluster results. I have learned that for me skin care is like 4-5 steps for me.

  1. Cleanse

  2. tone

  3. serums

  4. protect/moisture

  5. optional

Over the years what I have learned is that I have skin that needs regular exfoliation and deep cleaning. In the morning I start with the Jane Marni Bioglycolic cleanser. It really helps cleanse my skin and get it ready for the day. Next I use some sort of treatment pads like these by ZO skin health.

Then, I use an essence which is really quite amazing. I did a lot of research and decided to try Missha which everyone says is the same as the SKii. I did not think a clear liquid I pat on my face would really do anything. But I swear since I started using it I have gotten so many compliments on my skin.

I then use my serums by PCA, and eye cream and then apply my tinted moisturizer with SPF.

At night I use the Banilla Co Clean it Zero sherbet, which melts the daily makeup and grime away. I then use my Clarisonic with an exfoliating wash to deep clean my skin. I will then do a mask like the clay one I wrote about here, or a charcoal one, or I use my derma roller. I then continue on my routine as I would in the morning minus the make-up. With the change in weather I started adding some more moisture with the Kate Somerville Glycolic moisturizer or the Caudalie Radiance Serum, Both of these I was turned on to because they came in my Box of Style, which always has the best skincare products.

Anyways thats what I do, what works for you and is there something amazing I am missing out on? If so please share :)
